None. Cabin has no sign-up, no login, no account, and no server of ours for your information to be sent to. We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, or device identifiers. There is no analytics package, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no third-party tracking code in the app.
The photos, lists, checklists, and guest guide you create are stored on your iPhone.
If Sync with iCloud is switched on — it is on by default, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings — that content also syncs through your own iCloud account so it appears on your other Apple devices. This uses Apple's CloudKit private database. It is your iCloud account, it counts against your iCloud storage, and we have no access to it. Apple's handling of that data is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Turning sync off keeps everything on your device and uses none of your iCloud storage.
Cabin asks for two permissions, and only for the reasons given:
Cabin only ever reads the photos you specifically select. It does not scan or index your photo library.
Cabin never asks for your location and does not use location services.
Photographs often carry hidden GPS coordinates in their metadata. When Cabin saves a photo it re-encodes the image and that metadata is discarded — location, timestamps, and camera make and model do not survive into what Cabin stores. This is deliberate: these are pictures of the inside of your home.
Cabin can turn your guest guide or your inventory into a PDF. That file is created on your iPhone and goes wherever you send it using the standard iOS share sheet. Nothing is uploaded, published, or hosted by us, and no link to your content exists on the internet. Once you send a file to someone, what happens to it is between you and them.
Settings → Delete All My Data removes every photo, list, checklist, and guide step. If sync is on, the deletion propagates to your other devices and to your iCloud account. Deleting the app from your iPhone removes the on-device copy; if sync was on, you can also remove the remaining iCloud copy in iOS Settings under your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.
Cabin is a general-purpose utility for property owners. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Because we hold no contact information for you, we have no way to notify you directly — this page is the record.
